Roberto Aguirre

Doctor in the field of Psychology of Language and Perception, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Spain, master in Language Science, from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), Mexico, and degree in Sciences of Communication, from the Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP), Mexico. He currently has a full-time G3 teaching position at the Institute of Fundamentals and Methods of Psychology. At CIBPsi, he heads the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) line. His academic interests refer to the study of linguistic modality and mental simulation in semantic processing. He is a member of the Uruguayan National System of Researchers (SNI), the Cognitive Science Society (CogSci), the Uruguayan Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences (SUCCC) and the Center for Research in Cognition for Teaching and Learning (CICEA).

Alejandro Fojo

Technician in Uruguayan Sign Language Interpretation (TUILSU) from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He currently holds a teaching position in the LSU-Spanish Interpretation and Translation Technologist Career at the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences (FHCE) Bde la Udelar. Member of the Written Spanish Translation Group-LSU, of the TRELSU (Registered Textuality in Uruguayan Sign Language) research team. At CIBPsi, he collaborates in the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line.

Graduate in Clinical Psychology from the Bicentenaria University of Aragua. Master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. At CIBPsi, he works as a member of the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line. His academic interests are linked to the study of the processing of the interaction between emotions, personality and gestural expression.

JIMENA GRECCO

Graduated from the University Technician in Style Correction from the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of Udelar.
Student of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. At CIBPsi, he is an intern of the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) line. His academic interests are linked to linguistic context and semantic networks, as well as cognitive processes, in general.

Doctor in Psychology from the National University of San Luis (UNSL), master's degree in Social Organizational Psychology and degree in Psychology from the University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP). He works as a retired researcher at the Institute of Applied Basic Psychology and Technology (IPSIBAT-UNMDP-CONICET), CIC Associated Center in the province of Buenos Aires, dependent on the Faculty of Psychology of the UNMDP. At the CIBPsi, he collaborates in the research of semantic structures and processes linked to time and space, participating in the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line.

LÁZARO GONZÁLEZ

Psychology student at the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. Currently, he collaborates and carries out preparatory studies for his degree thesis on lexical processing in the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line.

Graduate in Psychology and master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay.
At CIBPsi, he works as a member of the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line. His academic interests are linked to the study of temporal conceptualization, embodied cognition and psychophysics.

LUCIA COITINHO

Graduated from the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of the Republic (Udelar).

Doctor in Sociology and postgraduate in Data Analysis from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE), Portugal, double master's degree in Communication Sciences and Cultural Studies from the University of Lisbon (UL), Portugal, and degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alicante (UA), Spain, with a degree stay at the Paris Dauphine University (PSL), France. Currently, he works as a researcher in Sociology at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), at the Centro de Investigações e Estudos em Sociologia (Cies-Iscte). At the CIBPsi, he collaborates in the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) line, in the project "Experimental studies of cognitive metaphor in Spanish and LSU." He is the founder and coordinator of the International Night Studies Network (INSN) and coordinator of the Etno-Urb Urban Ethnography Network.

MARÍA NOEL MACEDO

Graduate in Psychology from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He currently holds a master's degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He works as an assistant at the Interdisciplinary Center of Cognition for Education and Learning (CICEA). At CIBPsi, she is a researcher in the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) line. His academic interests are linked to the study of Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Semantics, particularly related to the acquisition and use of image schemas in the formation of concepts.

Systems engineer. He is currently a student in the master's degree in Cognitive Sciences at the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He works as a research assistant at the Basic Research Center (CIBPsi) in the Faculty of Psychology. At CIBPsi, he is a member of the Mind, Action and Language (MAL) research line. His academic interests are linked to learning in the signing deaf population at LSU and the transfer of this knowledge to educational areas.

SANTIAGO RISTA

Graduate in Psychology, University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. He currently collaborates in the line of Mind, Action and Language (MAL).

Doctor in Linguistics from the University of Leiden (Netherlands), master's degree in Human Sciences and degree in Linguistics from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay. She currently works as an adjunct professor at the Foreign Language Center (CELEX) of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences (FHCE) of UdelaR. At the CIBPsi, she collaborates in the project Experimental studies of cognitive metaphor in Spanish and LSU, within the research line of Mind, Action and Language (MAL). Yliana is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-ANII) and coordinates the foreign languages ​​of the Faculty of Psychology of Udelar.
